I'm a work-at-home mom who truly enjoys what she does. I'm a wife and mother of 2 beautiful kids. I'm truly blessed. I was in the corporate world before getting laid off and promising never to get a J.O.B again. So I decided to use all of my experience and let it work for me versus work for someone else. I was born and raised in New York City but moved to Pennsylvania in 2004.
2/ Write more about what venture you're currently involved in, or what venture you'd like to work on.
On the business side, my job is to party. I provide sensual products - from massage oils, candles, books, bath and body products to more adventurous items - for women ages 18-88. These items are tested, tasted, touched, and smelled before they are purchased through confidential in-home parties. Think of the Tupperware party - with an extra kick!
The great thing about what I do is that women can shop in the privacy and comfort of their own home - rather than visiting an adult store or using a mail catalog. And prior to purchasing, they can have an awesome time with close friends testing the products and asking a ton of questions. They will also learn tons of tips and tricks to spice up their bedroom life (whether they are single or in a relationship). I truly enjoy my business which leads to……
3/ Share with others one lesson you've learned from being an entrepreneur.
If you are going to work your butt off being an entrepreneur (which is A LOT harder than being an employee) make sure it’s something you love to do or something fun to do. All the hard work you put in day in and day out will not be as hard if you are too busy having fun. It makes all your efforts, blood, sweat, and tears worth while!
